About Pesinet
A significant mortality
Infant mortality is very high in Africa and has tended to increase in
many countries over the past ten years. Thus, on average, 150 children in 1000
die before the end of their first year (this rate is less than 5 in Europe).
However, there is a large number of children dying of diseases often benign
(gastroenteritis, measles, infection) that the prevention, detection and treatment
early could easily prevent it from becoming deadly.
This is the initial project Pésinet, whose objective is to propose a monitoring
