Our objective
- To encourage employee engagement to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
- To give visibility to best-case practices within the company and recognize the teams who have made an extraordinary contribution in the field of CSR
Our solution
- Every year, Alcatel-Lucent holds a competition to judge the best CSR projects being implemented across the company.
- The CSR projects are then evaluated by a third party non-profit organization.
- Projects are judged on the basis of benefits to the company and broader community, on the demonstration of the company’s commitment to CSR, on the project scope, the ease of replication, the program effectiveness, and innovation.
- Last year, 58 applications were submitted out of which eight champions were selected.
- Each CSR Champion received a certificate, along with a US$10,000 or €7,320 grant to a non-profit organization of the team’s choice.
